Firefox Portable 55.0.xx not launching on 32 bit Win 7 pc's

Hello,

I've been rolling out Firefox portable to enterprise users for years now and never had this issue before version 55.
I deployed to the pc's and installed locally to the C: drive as per normal.
When users attempt to launch the exe either directly or from shortcut, nothing happens the firefox.exe process is running but browser does not launch. When I tried on an x64 pc, it launches fine.
Have tested the older vers 53.0 on an x86 pc and it launches without issue either from local drive or from our install share.
Is there a known issue with vers 55 auto detection of 32 and 64 bit pc's?

XP Dropped, ESR supports it through June 2018

Like most software, Firefox dropped Windows XP support in version 53. If it happened to work in some sort of form with that version or later, it was accidental, and not supported.

If you want a mainstream browser, you can use Firefox Portable ESR 52 until June 2018 at which point there won't be a mainstream secure browser for Windows XP any longer.

This is Windows 7 enterprise

This is Windows 7 enterprise though, are you saying that 32 bit Win 7 is no longer supported?

Locked Down?

Sorry, I thought you'd said XP for some reason.

It's possible your Win7 Ent instance, if it isn't your own, is locked down to prevent execution of some apps.

When you tried running firefox.exe directly on this Win7 enterprise, you ran the one in the App\Firefox directory, not in App\Firefox64, correct?
