Hi,
When I first installed PortableApps, I installed the platform and apps on my PC. But, I really wanted them on a USB stick. I've now done that but I have several files (including executables e.g. chrome.exe) located at C:\Users\MyName\PortableApps. I would like to remove these files from my PC. Is it OK to simply delete the files?

Yes, you can just delete them.
The only time where simply deleting them may leave things behind on your PC in unwanted locations would be if any of the apps had not shut down properly the run previous to the deletion.
As long as all of your apps were properly closed when they were last run, you will have nothing to worry about.
