Pchat Bad link and Still Active ?

Hi there, is pchat still active ? it doesn't say. I wanted to post in "Internet Apps" because that's where you download from, but sub cats were browsers. The old forums style had a better list of what support forum was for what, To me anyway. Maybe a "Support Forum" Link on the d/l page ? I noticed 2 things, on the Pchat Main Download page, there is bad url under OFFSITE : PChat FAQs should be, http://pchat-irc.net/docs/pchat-faqs/ BUT, takes you to http://aaspedia.com/docs/pchat-faqs/ advertising etc stuff. Another thing, when I used the search using "pchat" the first one at the top for me says "Zach Thibeau - 2016-09-20 10:47", but the link for it which takes you to the main page says "Date updated: 2012-07-25", I know there is a simple explanation but to me it was weird.

Moved, no longer developed

I've moved this to the "Internet Apps Support" forum. Because of the number of applications we have available, we no longer have specific forums for each application.

I've also removed the FAQ link. There doesn't appear to be a link still available with that information.

Regarding the date: The search feature shows the date the page was last updated, whereas the app page itself shows the date the application was last updated. You'll notice if you search now for pchat, the date show will be today's date, since I edited the app's page.

Active ?

Hi bud, Thank you. I would have been right to post it in the Internet Apps Section then, if I ever need anything I'll post whatever in the section corresponding to the download unless I see otherwise. I'm guessing Phcat is dead huh ?

My understanding is...

PChat is not currently maintained.
In similar fashion to Toucan which was "on hiatus" for a while, but has now been picked up by a new developer, PChat was developed and maintained by one of the PortableApps.com community members as a PortableApps.com app, but that developer (Zach Thibeau) isn't maintaining it any more, so it'll basically remain 'on hiatus' too until/unless another community member wants to take over developing/maintaining it.
