What's the purpose of the FirefoxPortable.exe? What happens if I directly execute App/Firefox64/firefox.exe?

Portability

If you directly run firefox.exe you will run the app in non-portable mode, so you will leave folders/files/settings behind on the computer, and will lose your settings if you try to run it on a different computer.

I see. Is there anyway to

I see. Is there anyway to pass commands through FirefoxPortable.exe? They seem to not have the same effect as when passed directly to the underlying executable.

For example I like to use "-P Second Profile" when running Firefox occasionally.

Edit: I'm taking rubbish, it works fine.

-P is local

The -P switch is for local profiles only. If you'd like to use a second profile with Firefox Portable, please use Firefox Portable 2nd Profile.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
