If you directly run firefox.exe you will run the app in non-portable mode, so you will leave folders/files/settings behind on the computer, and will lose your settings if you try to run it on a different computer.
I see. Is there anyway to pass commands through FirefoxPortable.exe? They seem to not have the same effect as when passed directly to the underlying executable.
For example I like to use "-P Second Profile" when running Firefox occasionally.

Edit: I'm taking rubbish, it works fine.
The -P switch is for local profiles only. If you'd like to use a second profile with Firefox Portable, please use Firefox Portable 2nd Profile.
