Okay to Delete Firefox 32-bit from Portable Apps Folder?

I have Firefox v57.0 "installed" as a portable app. In the "App" folder there is a "Firefox" folder and a "Firefox64" folder. I only ever use the 64-bit version so is it possible to completely delete the "Firefox" folder? It's kind of strange in a way. The "Firefox" folder contains 113 files. The "Firefox64" folder contains 112 files. What is the extra file in the "Firefox" folder?

searchplugins

The Firefox folder includes a "searchplugins" folder that is not present in the Firefox64 folder.

Here's details on what can and cannot be removed in Firefox, Portable Edition (when it comes to 32 and 64-bit, that is): https://portableapps.com/support/firefox_portable#32and64

No "searchplugins" Folder

Many thanks for the response.

I don't see any "searchplugins" folder in the Firefox folder (nor in the Firefox64 folder, come to that). This is for FirefoxPortable v57.0.

Going by the doc you point to it would seem that for now it's not a good idea to delete the "Firefox" folder (i.e. the 32-bit folder). I guess I'll just wait patiently and watch the doc you point to for any update on this score.

Thanks again.

Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.

Additional File is "breakpadinjector.dll"

I was hit with inspiration and used WinMerge Portable to find the name and location of the extra file in Firefox Portable (now) v57.0.2. The "additional" file is in the App\Firefox folder. It is in the root of the App\Firefox folder and is titled "breakpadinjector.dll". I looked on the web for information concerning this file but couldn't find anything.

In any case I'm looking forward to the day when PortableApps makes the App\Firefox folder deletable. Only ever use Firefox 64-bit nowadays.

Use Portable Apps on both Flash Drive and HDD/SSD.
