How to make TBP really portable?

Hello!

I wanted to preserve my old emails offline, so I downloaded TBP 52.1.1 and used it to store my emails (set up IMAP account, downloaded all emails and set TBP to Work Offline). So now I have an archive of my old emails, alright.
But, when I try to move TBP to any other folder on the same PC, it does this funny thing:
- cyrillic folder names become unreadable;
- all folders disappear after I restart moved TBP.
Somehow figured out that if I delete panacea.dat, I can view my emails, but still cyrillic folder names are a mess and everything disappears after restart.

Please help me fix it and make my TBP really portable.

Likely ANSI

It's likely Thunderbird's non-ANSI handling is incomplete. The launcher can handle Unicode without an issue.

After I restart TBP all the

After I restart TBP all the folders disappear: with cyrillic names and latin ("Sent", "Drafts" etc).

Anyway, this does happen only if I move TBP to other folder.

What Folders

What's the full path you're moving from and the full path you're moving to?

C:\Users\admin\Downloads

C:\Users\admin\Downloads\ThunderbirdPortable
to
C:\Install\ThunderbirdPortable

For example.
