Release Notes:
0.4 Release Candidate 2 (2020-02-23): Re-coded custom launcher code as it was lost, fixed a few things with launcher, upgrading will now work correctly, added temporary file associations for .osz, .osk, .osr, and .osz2 files, added support for osu url protocol.
0.3 Release Candidate 1 (2018-02-06): Finally fixed saving of settings correctly this has been tested and verified, New ID generation is tested and working too.
0.2 Development Test 2 (2018-01-04): Fixed saving of settings, made launcher generate a new ID for the Osu! install on first run. (EDIT: The saving of settings is not fixed in this build I messed something up, next build will have fixes settings saving, I've already gotten it working.)
0.1 Development Test 1 (2017-12-02): Initial release

It's been reformatted.
This game creates an entry in the Programs and Features under Windows 8.1
When I tried to "uninstall" it showed an uninstall window which said " We're sad to see you go..
" and finished.
However, the uninstall entry remains there regardless if I ask it to uninstall itself. I'm going to have to do it manually.
Just thought I'd let you know.

Not sure how to fix that, I've updated the launcher to fix some bugs and made it generate a new install ID on first run to prevent one person cheating from banning everyone who uses the portable version.
The game integrates it's installer into itself, the only fix I can think of for this is just clicking "No" when osu! asks for admin through UAC.

I think it should be "osu! Portable" because there are apps that start with lowercase letters like calibre Portable, fre:ac Portable, gVim Portable, etc.
I also think that it should be one of those music games for PortableApps.com.
well is it full tho?
I got error like "Cannot find/missing osu.ini. What am I to launch?"
And there is no sense in using this portable edition because you can copy original osu! folder anywhere and use, game is portable itself
