For the past few weeks, when I check for application updates, I see an update listed for:
LibreOfficePortable_update_6.01_rev2 UpdateFrom 6.0.1_ONLY.paf.exe.
The update is 5 MB.
When I click on it I get an error "Unable to download file" and lists some possibilities.
When I check my installed version I see that it is 6.0.1.1 .
Is that what is giving me the error?
Is there a way to make the error go away by stopping the app update or changing something in my version?
Thanks
Jojo
SourceForge has been having issues the last week. You're currently running 6.0.1 as both we and The Document Foundation refer to it. The 4th number isn't really used when referring to LibreOffice's version. That 5MB update is what you're supposed to be getting but there's likely an issue with your local SourceForge mirror. You can download this update here and install it right over your existing copy to upgrade to 6.0.1 Rev 2.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Wow!- it worked like a charm. Thanks a lot John
all the best

Hi John:
I don't know if I am supposed to send this to the moderators or how it works, but as far as I am concerned this thread/issue is successfully closed.
Thanks again.
