Hi, my PortableApps platform shows CDex 1.96 is available to update, but if I will update it seems to start downloading, but within less then a second I get the error "Download Error: Access Forbidden (403) on file http://mirror.cdex.mu/CDex-1.96.exe"
If I remember well, I also got the same type of error when I tried to install CDex within portable apps a few months ago.
What can I do to get this update installed?

Can you download the file in your browser? If so, put it in the same directory as the installer and the installer will use it.

Are you behind a firewall or proxy?
I note that in my corporate environment, I am blocked from downloading this file myself, due to a firewall rule.
The same may be occurring to you.
i have the very same problem
with all of my apps ready to update
i temporarily turned off the firewall to test if that was it
the firewall did not solve the problem
