Are you aware ov mwayne's dev test? I think it is still active (last update a few weeks ago), maybe it needs an update.
You could work together for some additional aspects, if needed. There is no need for two dev tests.
Apologies for late response, I did not log in here for more than a year. I was not aware of any project exist at that time when I created the project.
First thing it leaves a kicad directory at AppData\Roaming behind. Afaik KiCad doesn't alter the registry at all. The optional directories shouldn't be removed on an upgrade. And other minor things need to be done.
Finally can I use the BOM Add-in with LibreOffice?
Hi, thanks for the comments. This release includes the BOM Add-in which stores all settings in Windows Registry.
As for the BOM Add-In, I started this project in early 2009. I am supposed to migrate it for LibreOffice/OpenOffice compatibility when I find time but I ended up writing a Python script instead (using the KiCad scripting support). The Add-In digital signature also has expired (2018-01-27). I need to update this as well. I am making the BOM Add-in as a Legacy software and I will be releasing a new Windows native executable to perform advanced BOM consolidation.
