Download PortableMineLauncher Dev Test 9 [2.1MB download / ~263MB installed*]
(MD5: 5f19f2d2cd9277bb0c0b5d785f183fe7)
*Install size is variable due to the extra components the launcher downloads on first run (which are not included in the package), and because of game data and save files.
Please file any bug reports/feature requests at: https://github.com/JarlPenguin/PortableMineLauncher/issues
As of Dev Test 7 , because of ID changes, PA will not update your current installation. A clean install will be required, and then you can move your data to the new directory (PortableApps\PortableMineLauncher) from the old directory (PortableApps\MinecraftLauncher2Portable).

You can add an option to config java path or use .....PortableApps\CommonFiles\JDK64
The launcher isn't built from Java, so that is largely useless, unless you change the path within the launcher itself. This doesn't require Java to run, the only reason they download Java on first run is for the game itself, not for the launcher.

You shouldn't include the MinecraftLauncher.exe in the installer. It's better to have the installer download it (as need permission otherwise).
I took the liberty of making the necessary INI section for you (just copy and paste into installer.ini):
Since it will update itself anyway, it doesn't matter if the installer downloads an older version.
Welp, didn't know that option was available, thanks A LOT for the help
I'll make sure to do that.
