Old version of FSC?

The current Faststone Capture version is 9.0! Version 5.3 is an old version dated Feb 12, 2007... see http://www.faststone.org/

Yes, we know, but it is like this for a very good reason. After 5.3 the license was changed from freeware to a 30 day limited trial, so we can't legally release any version after 5.3.

Best screen-scraper I've used.
I've looked at a number of screen-scrapers, and FastStone Capture is the best, even at version 5.3. And yes, that was the last version licensed as freeware (for personal use).
John, I am curious: Is the PortableApps version just to keep the registry clean? I've always used FastStone Capture 5.3 simply by unzipping its installation archive and running it.
