Mixxx Version 2.1.4

Beat Detection feature is missing.
I can't see any Beat Analyzer in Preference, so I can't choose one.

Win7 x64

Edit:
I think I found the problem.
The MixxxPortable folder was located in a path that contained Hebrew charaters.
I moved the MixxxPortable folder to the root folder (D:\) and everything work is working as expected.
It should work no matter where I place the MixxxPortable folder.

App Limitation

Some apps may not fully work from paths with certain Unicode characters. We do not test every app release for this as the specific errors could appear in one version and not in another. We recommend sticking with ASCII characters for most apps as many Windows apps have issues with some Unicode characters. We can not control how the specific apps themselves handle these characters.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

How to identify if the problem is in the app or portableapps?

btw, I don't encounter such a bug often.

Mixxx Version 2.2.1

At first run, there is a dialog box: "Choose music library directory"
I clicked "Cancel" - for leaving it empty.
But the next times I'm running Mixxx, this dialog box is appearing again and again.

Likely base app, will continue until it is set

Without having installed the app to check, I am fairly certain this dialog would be from the base app itself and not from any PortableApps components.

So until you set the location it is asking for it will keep asking.

"Recordings" folder.

the recordings are saved to Mixxx folder, along with the mixxx.exe file. I think the recordings should be placed there within a "Recordings" folder.

By default, Mixxx saves your recordings as lossless wav files to a Mixxx/Recordings sub-folder in the Mixxx music directory.
