XULRunner - Error
If you see the message, "XULRunner - Error: Platform version is not compatible with minVersion "" ("" depends on version number), after a software update, use another browser to download the Firefox installer from mozilla.org/firefox, save it to the desktop or other location, delete the Firefox installation directory and then reinstall Firefox.
• If Firefox still does not start, see the Firefox will not start after updating section below.

Try to not update the portable version, but keep Data section.
1 ) Create a backup of Portable ThunderBird.
2 ) Go to the root directory of your Portable ThunderBird. You will see like below
ThunderbirdPortable
--> App
--> Data
--> Data --> gpg
--> Data --> plugins
--> Data --> profile
--> Data --> settings
--> Other
--> help.html
--> ThunderbirdPortable.exe
3 ) only keep "Data directory and it sub-directorys and it's sub-files". Then now you will only see "Data" directory Inside the root of portable Thunderbird. You will see like below
ThunderbirdPortable
--> Data
--> Data --> gpg
--> Data --> plugins
--> Data --> profile
--> Data --> settings
4 ) Now reinstall the portable version of Thunderbird. The installation dircectory is the same tha where you put your portable version of Thunderbird portable.
5 ) Now you have a completly functionnal version of portable Thunderbird, and your personal data is keep.
Thanks. That worked quite well.
I simply deleted everything except "Data" folder and reinstalled my messed up Portable Firefox.
This issue should be mentioned in the Portable Apps FAQ.
Thanks!
