I'm usually pretty patient and know how to just wait -- I do appreciate that packers are busy with other things and so on. But 4.1.6 was released by Apache in November 2018 and still no release from Portable Apps. Please can someone pack it and release it. I suppose I think that given that Apache don't do many new releases of OO then just a bit of effort now and that will be that for several months.

See the Outdated Apps Thread as you've posted before. LibreOffice is HIGHLY recommended over Apache OpenOffice as the latter is essentially a dead app. I switched over and switcher over everyone I know when all the main developers left to form LibreOffice and development, including security patches, stalled for an extended time.

Okay John I see your point I have both OpenOffice Portable and LibreOffice Portable installed. However, when I use them I almost invariably find myself preferring to use OO. In particular the Help file that OO uses is a proper help file with excellent capacity to navigate around whatever topics are of current interest. Also, on install, the help file is just there ready to use, which is kind of helpful. In comparison to this the LO offline help is, once you actually get it installed, a pure dog. A help file that opens in your browser. What, @^*#?! And it certainly isn't as easy to use as the OO help. OO help is a work of art compared to LO.
Likewise for forum support. OO has https://forum.openoffice.org and it is a well laid out easy to navigate forum. LO has https://ask.libreoffice.org/en/questions and it, like the help, is dog to use, unbelievably bad.
In any case, though I do see your position, I see the other side of the coin for what you're saying as a reason not to pack the latest OO. The other side of the coin is that as OO doesn't update often then the latest version only needs to be packed once and that is that done and dusted for 'x' months or a year, whatever. There are people out here that do prefer OO, I have a couple of friends that prefer it over LO, and I'm thinking it a bit offhand to just ignore them because you think OO is dead. It isn't dead, I'm sure if Apache were going to sink it they would announce that decision. So again, please pack the latest version and serve all your users including those that use OO.

I didn't say it wasn't being packaged. I said to look at the Outdated Apps Thread to follow along. And to see the reason apps have been delayed in bold letters at the top of that page.
AOO is basically a dead app and has been for years now. To the point that there were security exploits being used in the wild on it, an available patch, and no release from the publisher for nearly a year at one point. They don't have the resources to develop it further and all the primary developers abandoned the project when Oracle ruined it and split to form LibreOffice. AOO has less than 1/20th the coding activity and most of the AOO commits are whitespcace fixes, code cleanup, translation adjustments, etc.
