A new version of Converber Portable has been released. Converber is a unit converter. It is a powerful software utility that will help make easy conversions between thousands of various units of measure in dozens of categories. It is freeware for personal and business use.

This revision updates to the latest format and adds taskbar pinning support in the PortableApps.com Platform.
Feedback. 2.3.1 update cleared user settings
FYI, When portableapps updated this program on 8/5/19 for me, it clear my user settings and custom conversion file I had setup. I just realized it and was able to pull from a backup.
It seemed to overwrite /data/preferences.ini and it overwrote everthing in /App/Converber, which is where the custom conversions *.INI file was stored.
Wanted to provide some feedback.
Really like the program and usage through portable apps.
Preservation, overwiting
The Preferences.ini will be preserved on upgrades but will be lost on unsafe exit with it left behind in the App directory in the current release. I've updated the installer.ini to preserve it on upgrade after an unsafe exit.
The Conversions.ini will be overwritten as that is used by the app for its conversion database. I've noted this on the app's page.
