Is it normal that Firefox doesn't load plugins when I click on .url files and also loads a separate website history and download history?
Is there a way to make so that firefox doesn't do that?
Sadly, I can not remove my plugins because they're really important.

Running in Local Mode

If you're associating Firefox as your default browser, it's associating firefox.exe directly and will run in local mode when run from other apps, not in portable mode. You must use a third party utility to add FirefoxPortable.exe and set that as your default browser.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Am I using it wrong? If so, can you explain me how to use this program?
I've been stuck today with the local version because I was downloading! =(.

You have to choose

You have to choose FirefoxPortable.exe not the firefox.exe from the app itself. Everything for the "Open" has to be related to **AppName**Portable.exe and not **AppName**.exe. It maybe won't work and I don't know why. I am myself in this situation and I am working on it.
