Regarding: - PortableApps.com Platform working on Linux operating systems

I am considering installing a Linux operating system on my PC.

Will PortableApps.com Platform work on any or all Linux operating systems and will all portable apps work on my Linux OP if they are installed on the PortableApps.com Platform?

If this (PortableApps.com Platform) was a way for all portable apps to work on any or all Linux operating systems, it would expand portableapps.com and the Linux operating systems.

If you are reading this and you don't know the answer by you do know how I can get this question sent to someone of authority at PortableApps.com, would you please post how to connect to them, or send this question to them?

Our parts will work, but individual apps will vary

The PortableApps Platform will work in Wine on Linux. As long as you have a fairly recent version of Wine installed the Platform should work without a problem.

Our Launcher will also run on Wine, but regarding individual apps, it is outside of our time and ability to test and track. You can check the reported status of a huge selection of apps in the WineHQ AppDB.
