What do I have to do to transfer my very old options and accounts to the new version in a new folder?

portableapps.com/support/miranda_portable and portableapps.com/de/support/miranda_portable are super old
there are many old links on that page ( miranda-im.org is pretty dead )
and on that german version are several "GIMP" mentions which seem to me like copy&paste mistakes

No supported version of Windows will let portable software run correctly from Program Files. Even discontinued versions like Windows 7 and XP blocked it. And if you manually unblock (a big security risk) some apps will break anyway and not run in portable mode from there. So, it's locked out by design.
The German pages have been unmaintained for some time.
You can install a new version of Miranda right over an old one, like with all of our apps.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
