Bye,
I found two strange things in plugin management in notepad ++ Portable
1) after unpacking the paf.exe in the Notepad ++ Portable\App\DefaultData\Config\plugins\Config path, the DSpellCheck plugin is present. The plugin do not appear in the installed list in the PluginManager.
2) when installing a plug-in (eg Snippets) the "Plugin Manager" item disappears from the Plugins menu. I have to close manual and restart Notepad to see it again.
3) when I install DSpellCheck and immediately after I install a dictionary (es. IT) the "Plugin Manager" item disappears and no longer appears.
The file is missing in the Notepad ++ Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config folder
Bye
App Notes: When using the Notepad++ plugin admin, after Notepad++ restarts, close it, wait a moment, and then reopen it. It tends to break out of portablization on many systems.
As for DSpell, it's likely leftover from an earlier version in our default settings. Does it work correctly after you install?

I'm not English speaker, I don't use English Dictionary. When I open Notepad (after install notepad) Dspell is not present in plugin menu (eg. select dictionary), I don't know if it work fine or not. I think no because i can't select dictionary UK or USA.
I must install (again ?) Dspell to install Italian dictionary. After install Italian dictionary I cannot select UK dictionary, they are not present in folder Notepad\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config\Hunspell (before they were present).
After install DSPELL, I close and wait 60 seconds. I run Notepad but "Pluging Manager" is not present. I close and run many times.
bye
Would you please open your Releases\Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config directory and delete everything except the nppPluginList.dll file. This should reset your spellcheck plugins.

nppPluginList.dll is not present in folder Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config.
The problem is that.
At run file is not copied from Notepad++Portable\App\DefaultData\Config\plugins\Config
into Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config.
I must copy it manually.
After paf install folder Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config is EMPTY
First run copy Notepad++Portable\App\DefaultData\Config\plugins\Config
into Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config.
Install DSPELL delete file from Notepad++Portable\Data\Config\plugins\config or don't copy it from DefaultData
Install JSON Viewer Plugin, Plugin Manager disappears
Manually replace file nppPluginList.dll
Remote JSON Viewer Plugin, Plugin Manager disappears
I've made some changes and think I have it sorted for you. Please try this revision to ensure it's working as expected. Note that you'll still need to close and then reopen Notepad++ after updating/installing/removing plugins to get the Plugin Manager back.

Thank you for developing some solutions here. Good news: Plugin Manager is here after the second start (or first restart) of the Notepad++. Not so good news: I still loose my session as I described in the other topic here. And this time it is already lost after the installation of the new version, on the first start after the installation.
You can easily test the situation: one just need to open some files or create some new tabs with content without saving them. Then just close the editor’s window without closing every tab and open it once again. The saved session should be restored.
As I already wrote in the other message, probably because of the strange situation after the start N++ thinks that this is a first start and creates new files. This way we loose not only the session file, but also some other settings. It would be nice if you could somehow preserve and restore them, even after the second restart.
Ah, that's a packaging error on my part. It's sorted for the final build.

I just tested the third revision and the described bug is still here. So after the restart the Plugin Manager is here but the session is lost, and so probably the other settings files.
This is fixed in today's revision.
