Nope, doesn't look like they want to give people the option of hiding it.
Not everybody wants social media links attached to everything.
They're not tracking links or anything like that. They're just standard web links to our pages across different media.
Fun fact: The share buttons on our site aren't tracking links either. They're standard links with a simple javascript popup window to stay on the same page that I coded myself so you wouldn't be tracked.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
