Updater is very very very slow

This is new, not sure if it's a bandwidth thing, but on a 100 MBit connection I'm getting update speeds of 43.5kb/sec on app updates.

I don't know if it's because I'm in UK or what, but as user of portable apps for the last 10+ years it seems a little odd. Has something changed?

If it's an open source app, it's likely your local SourceForge mirror is acting up for some reason at the moment. If it's LibreOffice, TDF's download mirrors sometimes act up, too.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

How do we change which mirror

How do we change which mirror the updater uses?
My portableapps updates have become painfully slow (50-60kb/s) even though my internet connection is fine and I can manually download from other sites at 3-4MB/s.
I'm in the UK aswell

It's likely your local SourceForge mirror is overloaded. Compare the download speed of Firefox in the platform to Opera. We host Opera since it is closed source.

How do we change which Sourceforge mirror the updater uses? It always seems to pick a slow one when I can download from neighbouring countries Sourceforge mirrors much much faster
