just tested your portable version of MPC.. (good one by the way...)
have it running side by side with another version of MPC (64bit)...
Anyway yours looks washed out .... ie there is a lot less contrast and less color intensity.....(this is all sofar)
I can not test all the formats yet as i am on my laptop on holidays...
P.S. when i first installed it the play list window came up by default, I never use this function as it is ugly and looks like a primitive tack on...anyway this should not be up as default as it is not this by default in the normal versions etc...
keep up the good work ..... cheers...
Looks like a handy tool. No issues on execution for locked down XP network with Power User rights.

Much appreciated.

The versión 0.12 works fine.
Is it possible to upgrade to version 0.19 (The abilty to define URLs on events and execute "Goto URL" to open a Web browser)?
Thanks in advance for your job
thanks!
I was using MS Visio for building a timeline for my book. When I start using a flash drive to be able to write at home and at work, Visio went out of consideration. I am really glad I found the Timeline. It does everything I need, no more, no less. I especially like the scroll and zoom features. It works amazingly fast. The only thing I would like to be added is the ability to break the line of text (label) of the Event (just like the program allows doing it in the Description field). For example, I create an Event called “1980-01-30 The Wizard finds the talisman”. Having a date in the Event name gives me a quick way to look up when exactly the Event took place without the need to zoom in. It would be nice to be able to break this line in two, like this:
If it is going to be a major pain to add this feature, then I can just put my dates in the Description area. No big deal.
All in all, the program is an excellent piece of software for those who need to create a timeline without going through the complicated columns and columns of Visio icons.
Timeline ver. 0.12.1
Windows 7
The app itself isn't developed here, it's simply packaged for portable use here.
This feedback is feedback that would be more appropriate for the base app developers, who can be contacted via the app's webste: http://thetimelineproj.sourceforge.net/
Note that the app has been updated to 0.20.0 since this portable release, so you'd be better off checking that version first.
Loving this program! Great job Any plans to allow file attachments? I'm not sure how hard that would be to do. This would be a great way to en-capsulize all of my job search activities, along with the relevant docs.
Note that this app isn't developed here, like the majority of our apps it is simply repackaged for portable use.
