Timeline App that allows file attachements?

I have looked and looked for a portable timeline creation app that allows file attachments. Anybody know of one?

Do you have an example of a non-portable app that does what you are after?

It gives us a little bit more to go, because I'm not sure I understand what you are after based on just "timeline creation".

Hi Ken, yes, Timeline maker

Hi Ken, yes, Timeline maker pro allows a person to create a visual timeline and attach various file formats to individual occurrences on the timeline.

The timeline project?

After a quick Alternative to search, it looks like The timeline project might work for what you want. If so, it may be able to be made portable.

Looks Cool

This looks pretty useful. I was unfamiliar with this sort of app before.

Already a dev test

And conveniently, we already have an old dev test: https://portableapps.com/node/27424

Tried this one at your link

Gord, I had tried the portable app at your link (Timeline) https://portableapps.com/node/27424 but it doesn't support file attachments to various points on the timeline. Other than that, it is a really nice app that works well for a basic timeline.

The other app, from Source Forge (The Timeline Project) https://sourceforge.net/projects/thetimelineproj/ is a cross-platform, open source version that DOES support file attachments, and would likely be a solution to my dilemma. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to install it at home, since it contains no .dmg (mac at home, pc at work). The .exe obtained here: https://jenkins.rickardlindberg.me/job/timeline-windows-exe/lastSuccessf... requires admin rights, so I can't install it at all. Thanks for all help offered and received.

Same app, earlier version

It's the same app, it's just an earlier version of it. The Dev Test hasn't been updated since the publisher added support for it.
