chrome not showing previous profiles, tabs and windows anymore after crash

I'm using 14 different profiles in Chrome Portable, each profile has a few windows and several tabs.
Setting "continu were you left off" is on .
I had to hard reset my pc and now when I start Chrome portable, only my main default profile starts without the tabs and windows that should be there. Worse when I try to open another profile from the "other people" list none are there anymore.
"last sessions" and "last tabs" files are still available, all but one "current session" and "current tabs" are still there as well, those two files are missing in the "Default" profile folder but I renamed "last sessions" and "last tabs" to "current session" and "current tabs" in that folder as am I supposed to do in such a case. All profile folders are still available too including their full directory structure, so Default, Profile1, Profile2, etc.
All that data seems completely ignored now.
How can I get all profiles to load again and get my history, tabs and windows back per profile?
Can I manually force chrome to load the profiles again somehow which are still there after all?

Thanks very much in advance for any possible help. I really need this fixed asap. Much appreciated.

Hard Reset?

What do you mean by a hard reset? If you mean a full Windows reinstall and new Windows account (even if its the same name and password), then it is the same as moving it from one PC to another. In which case, only what you sync with Google will be available. This is a known limitation with Google Chrome and by design of the developers. Most of Chrome including passwords, extensions, and all settings is locked to a specific Windows account using hashing and/or encryption. As you move, it resets. The way around this is to log into your Google account and sync everything to Google. There are details about this on the Google Chrome Portable homepage and it alerts you to this as you install with the same details.

No Windows reinstall..

I meant I had to unplug the power and then reboot. No Windows reinstall..no detectable Windows corruption either, I can login fine with my usual Windows account and everything works fine...normally after a crash occurs Chrome lets me restore previous state, this time it didn't and all profiles with their respective windows and tabs didn't restore however they still seem to be there there directory and file wise. Can I get those restored somehow? Thank you for the swift reply.

Hmm, anyone else?

Unfortunately, I don't know enough about the Chrome file setups and how it recovers from crashes to assist on this one. Any other folks know the inner workings of Chrome data stores a bit better?
