I'm not as tech orientated as most people here, and I rarely frequent forums, so my apologies in advance if I break established protocols.
I've reinstalled TB 2 or 3 times with similar results:
- references to C: Data
- no profiles
- no address books
There's a fairly long history of T B as a portable app. I'm surprised at the number of my (and others) issues.
I'm not a total goof. I've successfully installed GIMP, Open Office, Irfanview and a couple of others.

If you're running it from a taskbar pin from before, it won't work right. You must run ThunderbirdPortable.exe directly. If you want to pin it, you can make a new one in the PA.c Platform.
