Except donating money, is there some other way to speed up the updates to outdated apps? Maybe there are some templates/already approved procedures which would help to build PortableApps like for example OBS..

from financial shortfalls, there is a manpower shortage as well. Aside from John, there’s probably two or three other devs trying to keep all apps up to date. If you have programming experience, you can volunteer to help package some of the many updates that happen almost daily. There’s a page with information about creating portable apps.

I had some outside issues come up the last couple months that resulted in me falling behind. I upgraded from a 7 year old used PC to a 3 year old used one, which took some time and sadly didn't improve packaging time as much as I hoped. While that was happening, I had a family medical emergency come up. I still haven't quite got the new PC up and running and haven't had time to sell the old one to get more money for upgrades. But I'm slowly catching up. OBS Studio is built and mirroring for release today. I'm sorry for the delays.
