How would you class self promotion?

If the software is open source, it's not self-promotion.
Otherwise, it is.

a packer who installs all programs listed here (xcept OpenOffice)in a place you specify and you can chose the apps you want. Its rather big (80MB).
I mention this just to make it clearer for everybody.

Wait, does this include Firefox, Thunderbird or Sunbird? If so, it will need to be pulled down. You can only distribute the official installers for Firefox Portable and Thunderbird Portable, no modifications or repackagings can be made.

Their was no mods made to the programs, only the source was removed to cut down the space needed, and to make the compression quicker...

It doesn't matter. Even if nothing was changed, they still can't be redistributed. You can only distribute FFP and TBP as the binary installers PortableApps.com distributes or within the PortableApps Suite binary installer. Any other repackagings are not permitted without the express consent of Mozilla.
I have specific permissions from them for these apps and they don't extend to 3rd parties.
I figured you probably were unaware of this. So, just make sure the file gets taken down.

I think that (stated above) my installer would make a good installer for the portableapp installer. InstallerJammer is an easy program to use for total noobs. Just an idea...

Actually, the next release of the Suite will feature a new NSIS-based installer rather than the simple 7-zip self extractor I'm using now.

installerjammer isnt portable!
It leaves a folder called"installerjammer" in the same folder you installed the suite.
