7.0.1 Path for "Temporary Files" cannot be modified

Hi,

Just installed Libreoffice portable 7.0.1.

When running it, the Windows "Ransomware Protection" says that soffice.bin requests access to %userprofile%\Documents.
I do not want to do that. I'd rather modify the configuration of LibreOffice. Which turns out to be impossible.

Going to
Tools > Options > LibreOffice > Paths > Temporary Files
and then change
C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Temp\etc
into
P:\[foldername]
then click Apply is not working since when closing LibreOffice and reopening it, the configuration change has been rolled back.

Thank you

a+,=)

Configuration:
OS=Windows 10 64-bit
Install path=P:\[libreoffice][v7.0.1]\LibreOfficePortable
Fresh install
Windows"s "Ransomware Protection"=On

Not Supported

Setting custom temp paths for the individual apps is not supported as it may interfere with portability. If you'd like to set a TEMP path for all your software launched from the PortableApps.com Platform, you can create a directory called TempForPortableApps in the same directory as Start.exe (so, alongside your PortableApps directory). The Start.exe process will find it and set it for the platform and all apps to use.

If you're not using the PA.c Platform, you can use a batch file or other utility.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

a directory called TempForPortableApps?

Thank you.
Based on your "you can create a directory called TempForPortableApps in the same directory as Start.exe (so, alongside your PortableApps directory)." I have tried to keep the temp files off the computer when using Portableapps.
-->> What gets left behind on the machine after use??

I don't find Start.exe within Portableapps
I have tried all of these (Drive may be "D:" or "E:"):

D:\TempForPortableApps
D:\PortableApps
D:\PortableApps\TempForPortableApps
D:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable\TempForPortableApps

Two directories are still created within C:\Users\FKlus\AppData\Local\Temp\LibreOfficePortableTemp and not deleted when closing LO and PortableApps.

Win 10.0 - PortableApps 18.0.1 - LibreOffice Community 7.1.5.2 (x86)

Platform

This only applies if you are using the PA.c Platform. Start.exe would be in D:\ if you were using the platform.

Yes, Sir.

D:\ Start.exe does exist, and using it directly did make LibreOffice's Temp

I note that following the install instructions one creates a shortcut on the desktop which points to D:\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\PortableAppsPlatform.exe That may explain some results I have had and answer questions I was about to ask.
Thank you!
