Hello,
Are you affiliated with LivingWriter, and if so, can we get permission in writing to distribute this?
The terms of use for LivingWriter are clear that this is not permitted:
Until such time as permission has been confirmed, I am removing the download link.
@Gord Caswell
As an author and programmer, I truly appreciate your wont to protect LivingWriter LLC.; however, my software does not invalidate, violate, or otherwise go against their Terms and Conditioning or licensing as my software is merely a Chromium Browser wrapper that is allowing you access to the Living Writer Website. It would be the same as accessing the site using a chrome browser and such is allowed under their licensing. It is merely a browser app that has access to one website, and one website only. I did not download or distribute proprietary software or code to develop this app.It is not an HTA app either. It is basically a chromium based browser that is programmed to access LivingWriter's site, it also lacks basic toolbar, URL functionality, bookmarks, history, settings, and what you would normally see in a browser. I am myself an author and I hated having to open Waterfox Browser to access my book. I wanted it to be more of an app like experience. This was the reasoning behind my creation of the app. Unfortunately, as you yourself have seen, their Terms and Conditions prevented me from making a locally run app, so I merely developed an alternative way to access the data that they make publicly available.
