1. "Task Coach" folder is left in AppData/Roaming. It does not get removed once the program is closed.
2. The program icon hangs in Windows Tray even after the program shutdown. If you hover the mouse pointer over it then it will disappear.

1. Yes, but the folder is still empty (simple test by running and closing the app).
2. Looks like OS related, Some closed apps may leave a ghost* after being closed, like this example.

I have just noticed taskcoachlog.txt in C:\Users\WindowsUserName\Documents. Apparently it's another leftover by the program.
The portablization issues have been fixed in 1.4.6.1. If you have issues with the app itself like the taskbar icon getting stuck, you'll need to address those with the publisher. They appear to have stopped updating the app in 2019.
