I have tons of portable apps and just finished reinstalling WIndows 10. I backed up my PortableApps folder and now my question is....how do I 'reinstall' it back on my new WIndows installation?
I mean, how to recreate all the file associations, right-click menus, etc...that existed previously?
Is there a simple one-click (or almost) way of doing this?
Thanks,

How to reinstall PortableApps after new Windows install?
In the PA.c 'reasoning', Portable means Standalone. In other words, what you're asking for is not a 'reinstallation', but an 're-acclimatization'.
If your personalizations were OS related, they won't be saved in the portable settings.

Instead of giving a definitions why don't you give the answer. Nobody cares how smart you are in nomenclatures.
I belive if you have restored the folders in the correct subfolders, you should be able to select Aps - Refresh App Icons and it should repopulate what you have in the subfolders.
I'm not trying to complicate the topic or asking for people to notice my 'smartness'.

Unfortunately he is right. File associations or standard application relaying to OS's registry same as the right-click menus. But there are tools to backup this settings in advance. Maybe for next time a good idea?

This is the best app I've ever seen outside this site! It should be among the developers' priorities..
