PortableApps.com password reset not working.

I've tried both a manually typed password after a reset,
AND having Apple keychain remember what my changed password is
and in both cases, after a half-dozen tries,
when I log out, and then attempt to log back in
either manually typing my password
or letting Keychain re-enter what it captured when I reset the password
Portable Apps will not let me in.
Not on my Mac, not on a separate PC.

So it seems it's actually NOT changing the password? or there's an error in what PortableApps actually ingests as the password, because once I go through the Change Password process, I can't log in with the new, changed password from my Mac or a separate PC.

Working Here

Working here without issue. I just did the exact same thing here with my test account. Fully logged out. Clicked through to reset the password. Clicked the link in the email. Pasted in a new randomly generated 20 char password. Clicked Save. Logged out. Logged back in with my new password.

I would suggest trying it in a different browser. The password reset function is a part of the Drupal CMS and nothing that I have altered or coded myself. It's used on more than a million websites around the world.

I don't know what to say.

I've tried Safari on the Mac (which you see in the video.)
I've tried Chrome on a PC, and Firefox on the PC.
Same result everywhere. I can't log in.

Maybe it's not a password issue but an "this account is blocked" except for the fact that if I do the password reset, then it gets me past the login and I can post here in the forum fine, but I can't get in to the Forum any other way except doing a password reset.

Want me to try?

Would you like me to reset your password to a random 20 char and email it to you? That way you can login normally and then immediately change it and that will hopefully work?

Yes, Please.

That would be very helpful as I can't seem to get it to stick from my end.

I reset it and sent an email with it so you can reset it yourself.

Username

Wait, are you using your email to log in? You have to use your username: IEBAcom The username or email is only for account recovery, if you forgot your username and/or password.

Yup - that simple.

Yup. that was it. Easy to overlook when so many sites use e-mail _as_ the USer ID, or interchangeable with.
