Update Post

Please follow the Dev Test format for posts in Beta Testing: https://portableapps.com/node/11965

You'll need to wait until you have some testing before consideration. I'm not sure if a note-taking app that requires an account to function would be a good fit or not. It depends on community interest. If others are interested, most likely.

Log file, Multilingual, 32-bit only, Dev Test Versioning

Ok, there's still a log file left behind at %APPDATA%\logs\simplenote-main.log. To handle this, add in:

[FilesMove]
settings\simplenote-main.log=%APPDATA%\logs\simplenote-main.log

In your appinfo.ini, change Language=English to Language=Multilingual since it is a multilingual app.

I recommend ditching the 64-bit version. As it's a simple note-taking app, there's no reason to more than double the size of the app for no benefit. An install size of 304MB for 32-bit only vs 629MB for what it is now, for no benefit to the end user.

As this is a dev test, I recommend using the Dev Test versioning we do. So, since this is a build of 2.2.1, you'd call this 2.2.1 Dev Test 1. And give it a package version of 2.2.0.991. If you need to do a Dev Test 2 (fixing bugs like above), it becomes 2.2.1 Dev Test 2 with a package version of 2.2.0.992. Then, if it's ready for release and deemed stable, it becomes 2.2.1 with a package version of 2.2.1. As 2.2.1 is greater than 2.2.0.992, the PA.c Platform will still update to it.
