Hi,
i see in other topics that chromeportable already offers ways to change default profile path by copying the file "GoogleChromePortable.ini" from the path "other\data" to the same path where is GoogleChromePortable.exe.
If i wrote inside the .ini file "ProfileDirectory=%appdata%" it automatically creates a folder where is googlechromeportable.exe called %appdata% and inside create the profile.
What i'm looking for: I'd like to use %appdata% so if i share the chromeportable.exe with other users inside my pc, they will all have their specific profile inside their folder.
How can i let %appdata% works?
Thanks
Environment variables are not supported in that option within the Google Chrome Portable launcher. Generally, you'd have the whole app within your USERPROFILE directory so that other users won't even see the app if you're on a shared PC.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
ok, thanks for the reply...
Is there a way to delete the profile everytime google chrome portable is closed?
You could with a batch file. In Chrome itself, you can set "Clear cookies and site data when you close all windows" to wipe stuff when you exit.
