Did not close properly last time message

Sometimes applications as FileZilla Portable, or WSCP portable starting with message:

FileZilla Portable (PortableApps.com Launcher)
"FileZilla Portable did not close properly last itme it was run and will now cleanup. Please then start FileZilla Portable again manually."

how can I rid away this?

I have the same problem, with FileZilla Portable.

But at my side, FileZilla Portable is inside, a MyDocument directory.

Same principle

Just close your portable apps before to shut down your computer. That's all!

Seriously?

I have this issue with Notepad++ that runs in background on my system tray. I run a LOT of programs... and every single one of the programmers for those programs have figured out how to make their programs shut down naturally when someone shuts down their computer. I see you have been struggling with this issue for TEN YEARS. Seriously.. how have you not figured out a way around this yet? I mean at the very least you could give us a commandline switch that would make it quietly reset whatever it is you are struggling with and continue without forcing us to press okay and then have to manually rerun the program. As it has been explained to you before.. Automations and Computers are synonymous. The fact that, after 10 years, you have not worked this out yet blows my mind.

I have always thought that the "PortableApps" setups were awesome! And they are dear to my heart. I do appreciate the work that has been done on this project. So you can imagine how my mind was blown when I realized you have been struggling with this for TEN YEARS! For every person who has complained about this.. there are at least 100 that have not. I was almost one of those people. It is very clear that you all are stubborn and somehow think that this is an acceptable response to an actual PROBLEM. I am here to tell you.. It is not. That's all!

Please Submit A Patch

Please feel free to submit a patch to NSIS itself, the scripting language our launchers (FirefoxPortable.exe, etc) are written in, to allow it to handle this as well as a patch to the PA.c Launcher to solve the issue. If you don't have the necessary skills, please feel free to hire a developer to do so and fund their work and then submit that to both NSIS and to us.

For background, PortableApps.com is mostly run by me these days. I sold my PS5 to pay for hosting this month.

Filezilla did not close properly last time

I have this annoying problem over a year or so - I always have to start Filezilla twice. I use every day another portable apps (Libre office, Firefox, Chrome, Notepad++ and many more), but I have this problem only with Filezilla. I even "reinstalled" it, but it didn't help. I mean it's not the big issue, but it is really annoying.
I'm not sure why only Filezilla does it.
BTW, I always close PA launcher before turning off the PC.

Close FileZilla

This would happen if FileZilla didn't properly close. After you close the PA.c Launcher, check Task Manager to ensure that FileZilla fully closed. You likely have a stray process for some reason.

You are correct

Thank you for the answer.
I looked to Task Manager and there really is filezilla.exe and FileZillaPortable.exe.
