Hi John,
I keep being tempted clicking the PortableApps.com logo and text on the lower left of the platform window when I want to go to the website.
Only to find it is not active or linked. What a waste of screen real estate!
Of course I have other means with Help - Support if I feel too lazy to just type it into my browser.
Maybe something to consider for a quiet hour.
Thanks!

Yees, I though I was the only ones getting annoyed by that.
Ok, I've added it to the code and tracker and it'll be in the next release: https://portableapps.com/node/28593

Just wanted to say thank you! Found it working by accident and used it many times since.
When I click on the logo ↓↓
1) Fresh Platform 21.2.2. Windows 7 64 bit, no active Antivirus while testing.. Firefox (the only installed browser) starts. When removing it, the PA.c website opens on the default browser¹.
2) Old Platform 22.0b1. Windows 7 64 bit, PeerBlock as Firewall and no active Antivirus while testing..
Firefox starts, and when removing it, Google Chrome starts too. Default browser starts when both of them¹ are removed.
¹ Installed browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Iron (set as default browser that created a local clone), Mozilla Firefox Private Window & Private Browsing by PortableApps.com).

This is by design at the moment. The platform has a built in hierarchy of portable browsers to look for for platform-internal links (Donation/Help links for apps, Support/Donate links for the platform, logo link, etc). It's the portable (stable channel only) browsers Firefox, then Google, then Opera, then Maxthon. If none exist, use the PC default. A legacy setup from a while ago. Eventually you'll be able to pick.

Thanks for the explanation, and sorry if I didn't notice that's a one-year-old thread
