Yes. Google Chrome is downloaded directly from Google during the install process. And if it doesn't match the one we tested and hashed, it will refuse to install. The launcher is open source under the GPL and you can look over the source code yourself if you'd like. Same with the installer. And I've been building it for about 13 years now.
