The PortableApps.com Platform is a whole collection of lots of files in lots of folders. You select a base directory and within that gets created the Start.exe file you're supposed to launch and the PortableApps and Documents directories. The PortableApps directory contains the actual platform (EXEs, images, config files, supporting EXEs, etc) and the Documents directory contains the linked folders from the platform's menu. You likely moved just one or some of the files. They don't work that way. You have to moved the entire set of folders.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
how can I fix this ?!?!
well I search for matte.png... this is somehow missing in the right place.
1. Install a fresh PortableApps.com platform to a new location
D:\Temp\PANew
You will get 3 files/folders there
2. COPY one of your portableapps that you had previously install to the new "PANew" installation.
For example, I can copy the old OperaGXPortable from C:\Users\MyName\Desktop\PortableApps\ to D:\Temp\PANew
So that it is now:
where the OperaGXPortable folder is inside the PortableApps folder
3. Run start.exe (the PortableApps.com platform launcher), from the new location (D:\Temp\PANew) and it will pick up the application from (2) and work normally.
[ One benefit of PortableApp's portable applications, is that as long as you copy your entire folder of that application, you can run them without much issues. ]
4. You won't have to redo your applications settings, though you would have to redo any customisation to PortableApps.com
5. You could reinstall the PortableApps.com platform back, but you probably would have a "messy" folder.
6. Remember, COPY the folder of your portable applications. When everything is running correctly, you can then delete your old installations.
