Hi John,

I received the following error during an auto-update. I chose not to run Firefox in the unsupported state, and then was redirected to the portableapps.com to manually download and install Firefox. Does this sound normal to you?

"Integrity Failure Warning: Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition was installed or upgraded without using its installer and some critical files have been modified. This could cause data loss, personal data left behind on a shared PC, functionality issues, and/or may be a violation of the application's license. Neither the application publisher nor PortableApps.com will be responsible for any issues you encounter.

Would you like to start Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition in its current usupported state?

I really wish ISP's would secure their networks, so a person could have some assurance their internet traffic isn't being manipulated by a third party

Is there any chance you could enable attachments or the ability to paste screen captures into a post? Posting questions by typing out screen errors is time-consuming.

Thank you for your time & consideration.

How did you do the update? That error can happen if your device has an issue with write access to a file. Pro tip: You can CTRL-C on a messagebox to copy the text out. You can post screenshots to a service like IMGUR and link from here. We will likely never allow attachments to comments.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
