[Fixed] Firefox Portable 106.0.3 Adds Firefox Private Browsing to the Start Menu

After updating to and running v106.0.3, it adds a Firefox Private Browsing entry to the start menu. The previous version didn't add the entry to the start menu. I don't have Firefox installed on the system and I updated it with the updater from the platform.

OS: Win 10 64-bit
C:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable
Upgrade from previous version

Confirmed, Workaround

Confirmed, working on a fix. It happens during the upgrade to 106.0.3.

Workaround: You can delete it once it's been created and it won't be re-created. To delete it, right-click on it in your Start Menu, select More, and then Open File Location. You can then delete the shortcut from there.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Fixed in 106.0.3 Rev 2

This is fixed with the new 106.0.3 Rev 2 release. You can remove an existing shortcut using the workaround above.

Tool False Positive

I've created a tool to allow easily removing the shortcuts from the local machine. Unfortunately, it has a false positive in Microsoft's antivirus. I've submitted a ticket and will release it once it is resolved.
