Suggestion - Show Installed Apps

Hello,

I have a new suggestion for the Portable Apps Platform.
In following I write PAP for "Portable Apps Platform".
By the way: I am using the version 4.2 of the PAP.

The "Portable App Directory" just displays apps, that I do not have installed.
For an error report I wanted to see what apps I have installed (a complete list), but this is not possible.
Such a list would also be useful to show it to colleagues and friends.

An Idea would be a Checkbox below the list with the text "Show installed apps".
If this box is checked, then also all installed apps are shown.

But maybe a RadioButton-Group would be better, because then I can decide what I want to see:
Text in front of the RadioButtons: Show
RadioButtons:
(*) not installed (default button, displays all not yet installed apps)
( ) installed (shows only the installed apps)
( ) all (shows all apps)

Greetings

OLLI

Show Installed Apps

Hello, Ken Herbert.
I see that you said this feature was confirmed to be coming up. That was over 11 years ago. How did that turn out? I don't see it in the version of PAP that I downloaded/installed, today (20221214)

Still a possibility, developer hours are limited

It is still a potential upcoming feature.

Only one person is currently maintaining and implementing new features in the platform, and his time is limited considering he is also keeping apps updated, running the business, and otherwise just making sure that this site continues to exist.

You can show a simple list of

You can show a simple list of all installed apps in the about-window (via "help"). Thats not the complete requested feature, but at least a workaround if you need a quick overview of your installed apps. It does not only list portable apps from portableapps.com but every additional app as well.

Already Exists

This feature was already implemented. To enable it, click Options, select the App Store tab and check off Show installed apps. You'll see them the next time you open up the app store.

If you'd just like a list of the apps you have installed, click Help, About, and then select the Apps tab.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

This is the third time in two

This is the third time in two days you have requested a feature that is already planned.

Please check the Upcoming Features section of the Platform 'Next' Pre-Release Bug Reports to see what is already planned when you have a feature request to make. It may already be in the works.

No worries, I was just letting you know that there is a list of upcoming features.

It isn't really apparent from the thread title, and isn't linked anywhere else to indicate that there is a list of upcoming features in that thread.

Suggestion - Show Installed Apps

Actually it does show your installed apps!

If I open up the PortableApps.com app, then select: Apps, then: get more apps by category. It will show the complete portable apps listing by category. The ones that I have installed have a check in the check box but no file sizes are listed.
