[Fixed] Stellarium 1.22.5 DSO catalog error on Win7

After updating the app a pop up window is saying that catalog 3.18 is found when 3.17 is spected.

According to:
https://github.com/Stellarium/stellarium-data/releases
3.18 is to be used with 1.2 version.

I have solved the issue by downloading 3.17 and putting it into:
~\Portableapps\StellariumPortable\App\Stellarium\nebulae\default

Same here!

Win 7 64 bit.
Looks like a Stellarium's bug, should be reported to their team, IMO.

End of the line for Windows 7/8

Looks like this is the end of the line for Windows 7/8. Stellarium already dropped support. I was including the older 32-bit release for use on Windows 7/8 and Windows 10 32-bit but using the data files form the newer Stellarium. Looks like it's time to make Stellarium Portable Windows 10/11 64-bit and release a legacy 7/8 version.

Was 1.22.4 working for you?

1.22.4 Working like a charm!

I'm not using stellarium nowadays, but this is the first time it shows this error window.

Fixed in 1.22.5 Rev 2

This is fixed in 1.22.5 Rev 2. Turns out the team released the 32-bit Qt5 build late. They didn't discontinue it.
