Using Musescore (Legacy 3)

Hello everyone

I've noticed that, after updating to Musescore 4, there is still a 'Musescore (Legacy 3)' item in the PA menu. However clicking on the item only generates a 'Could not find' error. Looking at the PortableApps folders on my hard drive, there is a 'MuseScorePortableLegacy3' folder which appears to contain the previous version (3.6.2) of Musescore, however the exe in this folder is: GrampsPortable.exe.

The bottom line is I would like to be able to run both Musescore 4 and 3 but before I go messing with things, I wanted to check on the best way to do this. I assume that I can have both versions 'installed' since they're portable.

Kind regards
Paul van Pinxteren

Previous Bug, Reinstall Over

There was a bug in the original MuseScore Portable 4 release that caused this. You can download a copy of MuseScore Legacy 3 from here: https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/musescore_portable#download_de...

Run the installer and install it right over your existing copy (this is the way the platform does updates and the recommended way to update apps, too). That should fix the issue for you.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
