Hi,
yesterday Stickies Portable (sticky notes) 10.1d Rev 2 was released.
The error message is in german. Unfortunately I cannot post the screenshot here.
Its aboput a "mdb2db.exe" in the path "Portable\PortableApps\StickiesPortable\Data\".
This application could not be started because the side-by-side configuration is invalid. For more information, see the Application Event Log. You can also view more details using the sxstrace.exe command-line tool.
I'm kind of overwhelmed.

Diese Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden, da die Side-by-Side-Konfiguration ungültig ist. Weitere Informationen finden Sie im Anwendungsereignisprotokoll. Weitere Details können auch mit dem Befehlszeilentool sxstrace.exe angezeigt werden.

thank you for the link. Not the first link worked, but the last.
After I installed "Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update" now the Stickies Portable works.

Open the file StickiesPortable.ini within StickiesPortable\App\AppInfo\Launcher. Below the [Launch] section of the INI add the following:
Save the file. Then start Stickies again and see if that helps.
Also what version of Windows are you using and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

I'm using W 10 Home 64-Bit (22H2).
