This app. really helps to add contacts and synchronize from google gmail and microsoft outlook (making it easier to add contacts to an android phone or to a blackberry).
I wish I could do it myself but I would spend about a month just to figure out how to start. Thanks portableapps for a great apps that make it easy to work with computers while on the go.

A handy tool and a great candidate to make it in PortableApps- GO Contact Sync Mod
I'm just starting to use PortableApps due to a new restriction at work.
Can someone grab this demand and get Go Contact Sync mod implemented as a portable app? It would be great if we could have an option to sync outlook contacts (and calendar) with google.
THANK YOU!
Any thoughts? Anyone who could help to get this SW packaged?
No thoughts? would be so great if this could be part of PortableApps
As Outlook is a locally installed app, there's not much reason to have this portable.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Thank you for your answer.
Let me help you to understand this app as I think you might have a small missunderstanding.
This app helps you to synchronize (both ways) google with outlook. This means that you can have your contacts and calendar on your tablett/smartphone and outlook in sync.
In my case: I have my outlook installed locally (company device) and would like to have my personal calendar and personal contacts synced and available in outlook. Therfore I need a sync tool like this.
thank you for reevaluating this!!!
can you not do it directly?
I do not use outlook for long time now, but in general you should be able to include other data in your local installation

No you can't do this directly. This tool is great to be able to have 1 contact folder and 1 calendar folder => which both are synced via Google.
Outlook offer a native integration of microsoft services, but not google.
If you use this app to bypass your company's restrictions, there may be a use case, but that is not, what Portable Apps from here are designed for - and I would not recommend that. Your company's IT-department should have taken countermeasures to prevent tampering the accounts data. If not, you maybe have access to the exchange server or anything like that to sync your smartphone directly. Either way, you better speak to your techs.
Apart from that, this tool has no need to be portable as outlook itself usually is installed locally.
I use it at home as well...
and again: outlook is installed locally. And the contacts and calendar are locally. This tool will synchronize your local calendar and local contacts with google. So you can also see, add and change your calendar (and contacts) on your cell phone. So: this tool IS needed, if you have your contacts and calendar in google and using outlook.
not quite clear why you need portable version of it. Install simply what ever you have to do this job and the work is done.

So I don't need to install and configure this tool on every PC that I have outlook installed. So I can install it once on my USB and have it (together with all of my other portable software) always with me.
I have outlook installed on 3 PCs.
is installed too and fixed, so where ist the problem?
I would rather go for linking ext data to your outlook

That doesn't work.
also checked with MS support. Therfore this tool is needed.
So long story short: who can help me (and all the other people) to get it into portableapps?
normal is to connect the address books permanently together, so you have all synched
sure you can expert address book manually and import it to other place and no tool is even needed, but to me it seems very complicated and unusual workflow.
If you believe that some extra tool is needed, then install it to each instance of outlook and all will be kept correctly synched too.

I see that my answer is late. Nevertheless, in case it's useful for anyone else, I've managed to get Go Contact Sync Mod to work in my PortableApps menu.
The GCSM ".paf" instaler version 4.1.33.0 is available for download at:
https://github.com/txanetxarra/Go-Contact-Sync-Mod-PortableApps
In case you want to build your own installer, the procedure followed is also described.
Regarding the funcioning, I've tested ir and so far it's working in two different computers without any problem.
Hope it helps.
Best regards.
