Not sure if this is a bug or the way the app has been designed but why doesn't the platform restart after updating itself?

The platform automatically restarts after updating itself via its built-in updater without issue in all my testing. Please detail how you are updating as well as "system details (OS version, 32 vs 64-bit), install path, ... etc."
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

I update via the platform app: Apps > Check for updates
Hi John, I gave you the information you asked for but haven't had a reply. The platform has just updated again and not restarted.
Sadly, I don't have any solid ideas as to why this might be happening. It could be antivirus taking a bit too long to scan after the installer runs. But I can't recreate it.
If you'd like to try some possibilities, you can downgrade to 25.0 and then let it update itself again.
