Please be aware that DuckDuckGo's Mac and Windows browsers are freeware with no available license that I could find, and only their Android and iOS browsers are open source. This means unless you have permission from them you cannot bundle the browser in your package. You also should not be hosting the browser's files on Github because of this.
You are welcome to seek permission from DuckDuckGo to bundle it, or change your package to be an online installer.
Also be aware that they have trademarked both the name DuckDuckGo, and their logo. So unless you also get permission to use both the name and logo you also need to change them for your package.
I've removed your links until you get the issue sorted.
Thank you, Ken, for the notifications.
Hmmmm .. as indicated above all my research indicates all open source ..
I will update when I have more information about some of the issues.
This page lists DuckDuckGo's open source software - the Windows & Mac clients are not listed.
Even if that was just an oversight on their part, their Github does not have repos for the desktop clients, only for the mobile ones.
1. Thanks hoabut, good to know it would work as a PA version.
2. Ken, DDG for Windows & for MacOS should be open source too, as soon as they're done with the beta testing.
Recent quote from DDG:
Privacy Pro is built right into our browsers — iOS & Android are already open source (https://github.com/duckduckgo) and macOS/Windows are planned to open source as well as they come out of beta.

Lots of people (including me) again and again request this or that Chromium browser.
DDG would be a new alternative to the existing browsers and seems better suited for a PA version.
Once they open source the desktop browser it will be fine to post here. Or if whoever was working on a package was to show verifiable proof of approval from DDG it would be ok too.
But a future promise of being open source is not legally binding, so for now we can't allow it to be posted.
I understand. Just wanted to share that recent statement. Hoping (if DDG doesn't change the plans for the browser) we might get PA version in the future.
