I posted here looking for an answer

It's working fine for my Firefox non-portableapps install, I'm tried to set it up for my portableapps LIbrewolf install. I "think" I did everything else right, but I don't know where to put the contents of these installation folder scripts. In Firefox, they go directly into the install directory.

If it can't be done, can that be confirmed so I don't have to keep checking back?
thanks

I've removed my original invalid response from here. I mistakenly thought it was about the fx-folder.zip, and only later realized it is actually about a utils.zip. Sorry about that.
I made a mistake. You were right, and got me thinking. I realized that I was referencing/linking to the wrong set of files, which are necessaary as well, but not in the installation folder: utils.zip

I was thought I talking about the fx-folder.

and putting these in the Librewolf installation directory

Everything's working now. Got all my custom buttons in Librewolf Portableapps. Visually Identical to Firefox now in that respect.
Thank for waking me up!

Hi, I'm glad to hear that you've figured this out on your own, and that I was actually under the right impression regarding the files in question.
And, since we are now on the same page, here is my original response, for comparison:
Extracted Files Placement - Not Tested
I "think" I did everything else right, but I don't know where to put the contents of these installation folder scripts.
Hi,
I gather, the proper placement of the extracted files from the "fx-folder.zip", adapted for the LibreWolf Portable installation, would be like in the below example. I'm using here real full paths from my default installation:
E:\PortableApps\LibreWolfPortable\App\LibreWolf\config.js
E:\PortableApps\LibreWolfPortable\App\LibreWolf\defaults\pref\config-prefs.js
So, the "config.js" file is placed in the "LibreWolf" folder, containing the "librewolf.exe" executable, and the "config-prefs.js" file is placed deeper in the already existing "pref" subfolder, along the existing "channel-prefs.js" file.
Confirmed. Wish I would have seen that earlier, would have saved me some time and aggravation
Thanks again

You're welcome. And, thanks for your confirmation that this is the correct way.
