Will not complete install. Stalls on Microsoft message telling me it is not a verified app. For the other 72 portable apps I use I have checked "Install Anyway" (I trust portableapps.com and it has always worked)

That's a Windows setting, typically when Windows is in S mode. Or when it was switched out of S mode and something didn't work correctly. You can turn this off: https://www.emsisoft.com/en/help/4062/the-app-youre-trying-to-install-is...

John - thank you for the prompt answer. At first I was wondering why your pirticular answer. I forgot to mention that I use Windows10 PRO. Why would "S" version cause me problems and my setting in Apps & Features has been "Anywhere" . Well my 35 years in IT (retired 6 years) did not prepare me for this. As I mentioned I use 72 apps from PortableApps.com and have never seen this message. I check anyway and sure enough my setting was change sometime in the last one or more Microsoft updates. (I am the only user, passworded and NOBODY touches my console, not even my beloved dog. JOHN - THANK YOU teaching an old dog - new tricks - it was the last place i wouls have looked
